BREAKING NEWS: NNAMDI KANU SACKS LAWYERS FOR MISLEADING THE PUBLIC OVER NEGOTIATIONS WITH GOVERNMENT

OFFICIAL IPOB PRESS STATEMENT : NNAMDI KANU SACKS LAWYERS FOR SPEAKING AGAINST NIGER DELTA AVENGERS

August 12, 2016

Following the press conference earlier today by our legal team, the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB) Worldwide has been reliably and incontrovertibly informed that some of the utterances of their defence lawyers were made without consultation. These utterances border on negotiations and some were against the Niger Delta Avengers. As a result of these unsolicited and unguarded utterances, the defence team has been sacked and will be replaced. The IPOB leader wishes to state categorically that the only thing we are open to is negotiations that will lead to modalities and processes to restore Biafra and avert further hardships on the people of Nigeria who have been under bondage since his kidnapping and illegal detention.

The Niger Delta Avengers arose because of the inherent injustice in Nigeria as manifested in the disregard to the rule of law when Buhari refused to obey court order to unconditionally release our leader, Nnamdi Kanu. We spoke the mind of our leader when we stated for record purposes that IPOB and Niger Delta Avengers share the same ideology of freedom for Biafra. Anybody publicly dissociating IPOB from Niger Delta Avengers is a mortal enemy of IPOB family worldwide under the leadership of Nnamdi Kanu. Let it be known that as long as Buhari and Daura continue to tamper with Nnamdi Kanu‘s defence team through bribery, inducements and intimidation, IPOB will keep on changing the team.

For the records, the press conference by the now-sacked legal team was about bringing to public knowledge the foolishness of the Department of State Services (DSS) in bringing treasonable felony charges against our leader and the lack of evidence thereof. The press conference was NEVER about negotiations because should negotiations start, IPOB will notify the world about it. Right now, we are not negotiating and will not negotiate until existing court orders ordering the release of Nnamdi Kanu are obeyed.

In the interim, Barrister Ifeanyi Ejiofor will continue to act as lead counsel until other counsels are appointed who will not sell their souls to the devil. Biafra or death!!!

Nigerian Police at it again as they shot and killed two unarmed protesting youths in cold blood

The Nigerian police on Wednesday 10th of august 2016 shot and killed two protesting young youths who were protesting against the destruction of their farmland by the Fulani herdsmen and the arrest of their innocent brothers who were arrested by the police.
This incident happened at Umomi community in the Ofu Local Government Area of Kogi State. According to an eye witness, the Policemen in charge of the Ugwolawo command had invaded the community and arrested three persons after the herdsmen in the area alleged that some of their cows were killed by the villagers.
Another eye witness by name Jeremiah Idege “We had issues with the Fulani herdsmen and that is always a daily occurrence. They normally destroy our farm produce and crops with their cows As I speak with you now, our community is wrecked, and we are tired another youth Sani Emmanuel, said “the herdsmen made the allegation because they were asked to leave the village Since the arrest of our brothers, the police have bluntly refused to grant them bail, so we decided to protest about it in our village.

We blocked the roads and sang solidarity songs the protest, which started around 10am, was peaceful and was within our village. Suddenly, armed policemen which we later gathered were from the Ugwolawo division drove in and started shooting live bullets at us. We had to run for our dear lives as everybody scampered for safety. When normalcy returned the policemen left.

We were amazed to see two dead bodies of our friends in the pool of their own blood, they were shot to death by the Nigerian police. we the youths were angered and took their dead bodies and abandoned them on the road in anger as we wept bitterly until the Ata of Igala, Mr. Michael Idakwo, came to the scene and pleaded with the victims family to take them away for burial.

We don’t know who to cry to, since the police who are supposed to be our friends and protect us, have turned against us  said sani. We don’t know any human rights organization to turn to for help, Please help us we are helpless! the igala citizen said. It's now a daily occurrence in Nigeria, as Nigerian policemen shoot live bullets at peaceful protesters in a democratic government, under President Muhammadu Buhari.

BREAKING: OIL COMPANIES WORKERS ON THE RUN AS NEW MILLITANT GROUP GIVES 48-HOURS QUIT NOTICE FROM N'DELTA

The Niger Delta crisis worsened yesterday, as a new militant group,  Niger Delta Greenland Justice Mandate (NDGJM), threatened to attack oil and gas facilities in the upland of the oil-rich region.
The new group, which decried what it called Federal Government’s and multinational oil companies’ neglect of the region, gave oil companies 48-hours to evacuate their personnel from the region, especially in the upland.
In an online statement by its spokesman, Aldo Agbalaja, NDGJM threatened to attack Warri Refinery and Petrochemical Company (WRPC) at Ekpan in Uvwie Local Government of Delta State as well as the Port Harcourt Refining Company (PHRC) at Eleme in Eleme Local Government of Rivers State.
The statement said its decision to change from peaceful approach to violence followed what it called Federal Government’s failure to appreciate and consolidate the peaceful disposition of the people in the upland part of the region.

NDGJM said: “We are asking all oil multinationals still in the upland of our region – Agip, Total, Shell, Mobil, Shorelines, Neconde, E. D. Western, Seplat and others – to commence the evacuation of their personnel from the region, especially in the Ogba/Egi axis of Rivers State, Urhobo/Isoko/Ndokwa axis of Delta State and other upland oil producing areas, within 48 hours.
“We also want to bring it to the attention of the Federal Government and the Nigeria National Petroleum Corporation (NNPC) that the refineries in Warri (Urhobo land) and Port Harcourt (Eleme) and the gas plant at Otorogun will come down in a few days.
“We have come at this point to ensure that our oppressors, being the Federal Government, the state governments in the six core Niger Delta states, who have received billions of dollars in the past years but have brought little or no development to the region, and the so-called super-ethnic nations, who have yielded to greed and wickedness and have exposed the rest of us in the oil-rich but deeply impoverished region, to crippling squalor.
“NDGJM is a coalition of forces across the Niger Delta, fighting for the interest of the region. The Federal Government and the oil multinational companies have been making a grave mistake by equating the interest of the Ijaw as that of all the tribes of the region. Indeed, this is a mistake that is about to take a more devastating toll than has ever been seen or experienced in the history of Nigeria.
“Any moment from now, we shall be making a loud statement, which we believe should be loud enough for all to hear and take seriously; afterwards, we will state our demands. We have considered this ‘coming statement’ reluctantly inevitable because of the recalcitrance of federal authorities as well as oil giants. They have decided to ignore calls to reason and have made violence the only option.
“The people of the upland Niger Delta, under whose watch the largest and most critical oil assets are located, have been ignored over the years. The government and the oil companies pander to every whim and cough of those who have violently engaged the state. Just as in the 2009 experience, the Federal Government and oil companies have started yet another round of negotiation with the Ijaw front, in the name of all the people of the Niger Delta.
“This will not work. Since they do not regard the assets in our areas important enough to be protected, we shall root them all out of …Niger Delta. We don’t want to make this mistake any longer: violence pays, as it has become the only voice the government hearkens to.”

NO COUNTRY WILL SURVIVE TWO CIVIL WAR

When Buhari was doing his electioneering campaign, he said he is Now repented and no longer a dictator but from all indications, Buhari is worst than Hitler. He has continued to violate human rights, disregard the rule of law and doesn't understand democracy.
The renewed trouble in Nigeria and the crisis in the riverine communities of Biafra land (South-south) is as a result of Mr. Buhari dictatorial style of government. Buhari is still having the military blood in his vein, he is still repressive to free speech and criticism, he still disobeys court orders and detains his perceived political enemies, he still loots public funds and a staunch ethnic bigot.
Gen Buhari in his return to democracy barely one year has turn Biafra land into a war zone, he has unleashed the Nigerian soldiers to kill and maim unarmed Biafran youths during peaceful protests, he has sponsored his misguided brothers a.k.a boko haram Fulani herdsmen to invade many Biafran communities killing hundreds of people, he has kidnapped many Biafrans and many have been buried in different mass graves across the country. Recently, he made open speech that he didn't regret his actions against the people of Biafra during the civil war that if giving the opportunity will kill more Biafrans in his quest to keep Nigeria united.
Just this week, he has ordered the Chief of Army staff to move heavy military hardware and equipment to the riverine communities of Biafra land where the new freedom fighters 'Niger Delta Avengers' are operating.
The NDA before now has listed their demands which includes the unconditional release of Nnamdi  Kanu and total freedom of Biafra. Instead of Mr. Buhari to call for dialogue as required in a democratic society, he chose to unleash the Nigeria military on the Biafran people. This is total declaration of war against Biafrans, the memories of Bayelsa odi massacre of 1999 is still fresh.  The Former president Olusegun Obasanjo ordered the military to wipe out every living thing there because he wanted the oil wells without the people of odi.  Buhari has been protecting and shielding the Boko-Haram terrorist but orders his Armed forces to kill innocent Biafrans. We are at the end of the tunnel and will not cajoled to allow the Buhari Nigeria government to destroy us, history always repeats itself but this time Nigeria will explode and everything living inside it will turn to dust. The case of Somalia will be a child's play to what we become of Nigeria if this war starts.
The only solution to avert this war is a speedy referendum and unconditional release of Nnamdi kanu and other Biafrans been kept captive by the Nigeria government. Buhari should emulate his friend David Cameron who recently organized a referendum that saw United Kingdom leave European Union, the international communities should be put on alert for what is to come next. Unity is not by force, all Biafrans need is their freedom...
